Book Giveaways and Contests

Today the second novel in The Elected Series, SUSPECTED, released in paperback and ebook across all major booksellers!

Aloy and Griffin’s adventures start right back up on the border between East and Mid Countries.  Their neighbor is blatantly displaying forbidden electricity, and Margareath, the spy Aloy banished to Mid, isn’t quite the same as when we last saw her….

The time has finally come to find out what’s happening beyond East Country’s seclusion!

a Rafflecopter giveaway

To celebrate the release of SUSPECTED and amp up promotion, there are two fun activities going on:
1. There’s a rafflecopter contest to win a signed paperback copy of SUSPECTED and a KINDLE!!!

Here is the link to the rafflecopter giveaway:  Please direct your friends here for a chance to win!

2.  To celebrate SUSPECTED’s Earth Day release, I set up a new twitter and Facebook hashtag #ToTheEarth.  Please feel free to use this today on social media to tell others encouraging ways we can help our planet.  Ideas can range from creative educational activities for children to sustainability wishes to even telling friends about SUSPECTED’s environmental themes.

You guys have been the best fans ever!  With your help, on ELECTED’s release day last year, the book made it into the top 100 of all dystopian fiction on Amazon, right next to Hugh Howey’s books and even The Hunger Games!  Let’s see how far SUSPECTED goes this time!

Please help me spread the word about the book by sharing the link to Amazon on Facebook, email, twitter, etc.  And, as always, any reviews left on Amazon, Goodreads, and Barnes & Noble help increase SUSPECTED’s rankings and gets it seen by strangers who wouldn’t have otherwise known about the series.

One of my personal pet peeves with trilogies is that the second book is often a journey between two places, and readers are often disappointed there’s not more action.  I promise you, SUSPECTED is not the journey between East and Mid Countries.  Aloy arrives in Mid within the first two chapters.  SUSPECTED is actually more action-paced than Elected, and it’s my favorite of the three books in the series so far.  I hope you’re thrilled with the continuation of Aloy’s adventures, and I can’t wait to hear what you think.

As Aloy and the people of East Country always say…”A new day to you!”

All my best,

Rori Shay
