Book Giveaways and Contests

PERFECTED’s Release Brings Contests & Parties!

This marks the third and final Earth Day release for Aloy, Griffin, and Vienne’s story. As we last left Aloy, she had two choices in front of her: leave East Country behind as Calix’s wife or stay and prepare for battle with Mid Country. She’s navigated through political and environmental intrigue, and Perfected finally reveals the conclusion!

There is no Kickstarter this time around, which means you don’t have to wait to receive the book. Perfected is available today:

in ebook (

and paperback on Amazon (

It will be out shortly on Barnes & Noble, Ibooks, Smashwords, Kobo, etc. You can also walk into any bookstore and have them order you the novel from Ingram printers.

Many of you already know that we’ve included a special celebration of daughters in Perfected, as I asked for names of your loved ones to include in the book. I hope you and all the daughters are excited to see their names in print and take to heart the message of strength.

To thank everyone for supporting the series over the past three years we’re hosting a Kindle giveaway. To enter, post a picture of yourself with a physical copy of one of The Elected Series’ books – Elected, Suspected, and/or Perfected. Every photo with a different person is one entry. Post the pic on Facebook or Twitter anytime in April and remember to tag me. A winner will be chosen in early May. This contest, while a thank you for fans, also helps me with promotion of the books, so if you’d like to assist in this way, I’d love it! There’s also a Goodreads contest to win an autographed copy of Perfected. It goes until 4/27, and you can feel free to enter this too.

Last, we’re hosting a blow-out book launch party at Matthews Winery in Woodinville, WA Sunday May 22nd 4-6pm. Families and kids are welcome. Friends of friends, parents, relatives, etc. are all welcome. The more the merrier, and it’s open to the public, so pass the word around! We’ll have food, free wine for the first 100 people, prizes, and favors for the kids. Also, for people who want to get really into it, feel free to dress up in costume as one of The Elected Series’ characters!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your enthusiasm for The Elected Series. They say it takes a village to raise a child. It also takes a village to get a book published, so I appreciate the many creative and unique ways you all stepped in to help promote and inspire this series.

It is with great emotion that I get to say the following in the spirit of Aloy’s countrymen on a release day blog post…one last time…

“A new day to you!”
